Abuse drugs on welfare? This is a test—Of the taxpayer!

Daniel Gluck is Senior Staff Attorney for the ACLU of Hawaii. Since joining the ACLU in 2007, Gluck has litigated cases involving the rights of homeless students; gender discrimination in public schools; privacy rights of teachers; discrimination against gay and lesbian couples; the application of the Fourth and Fifth Amendment in immigration court; and various prisoners’ rights issues. He has also worked on a variety of First Amendment issues including the right to protest, the right to videotape law enforcement, and protection of journalists under Hawaii's "media shield" law.

Mark Recktenwald is the Chief Justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court. Before he became the CJ in 2010, he was an Associate Supreme Court Justice and formerly the Chief Judge of the Intermediate Court of Appeals. He participated in deciding more than 250 cases and has authored 10 published opinions. To his CV the CJ has added first to give his state of the judiciary on YouTube.
