The year of the dragon is still officially nearly two weeks away, but celebrations have already started in parts of the islands. Honolulu’s Chinatown will continue activities over the next couple of weekends. Maui’s 13th annual festival takes place in Kahului later this month, and downtown Hilo celebrates next month.
