Business of the Arts (Sun., Feb. 3rd): Hawaii Opera Theatre's second production of the season is Francis Poulenc's wrenching work Dialogues of the Carmelites, opening on Fri., Feb. 15th. Stage Director Karen Tiller and General and Artistic Director Henry Akina discuss the unusual marketing strategy that came into play for this production, spearheaded by HOT Board member Evelyn Lance, and talk about how to deal with an opera that takes place during one of history's most violent times: the French Revolution's Reign of Terror. 6-7 p.m., HPR-1.
