A strange new sculpture has been created in deepest Kaka'ako: it's called "A Small Area of Land," and it's completely created from dirt…just plain Hawaiian dirt, and it looks like (and is) a series of strata. It's a fascinating project, and the sculptor, Sean Connelly, explains his concept and how he carried it out. Trisha Legaso Goldberg, curator, and David Goldberg, the reality checker, join him to explain this unusual art project. download mp3
