Blood Bank Recognizes Biggest Donors


Blood Bank Hawaii is the source of blood for the state's civilian hospitals. It's spending January recognizing the biggest donors in the state.

From Kona, HPR's Sherry Bracken tells us the blood bank is on Hawaii Island this week recognizing 100 donors who've given 56 pints or more.
