Last week was a busy one for Hawai`i’s central command for the National Weather Service with unusual weather events like hail, strong thunderstorms and a tornado touchdown. Whether you live mauka or makai, in Honolulu or Lanai`i, the National Weather Service says the best way to handle severe weather or a natural disaster is to be prepared. Nikki Motson reports.
