Tonight, First Friday festivities abound in downtown Honolulu, with a special addition: legislators are welcoming the public to see the art we all own at the State Capitol. HPR’s Noe Tanigawa reports.
Meet the artists, chat with your lawmakers, and view works of art showcased at the State Capitol today from 5-7pm. I have been to this event and it's amazingly relaxed, with opportunities for real exchange. Artists, let our lawmakers know what you're thinking about in the studio. Mahalo plenty to the legislators and staff who make it possible. Chamber music will be provided by the Hawai’i Youth Symphony.
