Just after last year’s APEC leaders meeting in Honolulu, President Obama flew to Australia. The two countries announced expanded military ties, including the rotation of U.S. Marines through northern Australia. Since then, the first group of Marines has gone and returned…but that’s just one of the developments in the past year. HPR’s Bill Dorman has more in our continuing look at APEC’s largest economies, one year after the Honolulu summit.
