Late last year, Bishop Museum Press re-issued his book, Ancient Sites of O’ahu. James' books are thoughtfully prepared, keeping in mind the sensitive nature of these sites. HPR’s Noe Tanigawa spoke with James about how these sites are part of a different world view. Van James’ books on ancient sites of Hawai’i are available at booksellers around the islands.
