The Afro-Cuban All Stars have been sharing Cuba’s musical heritage with audiences the world over for years. They debut in the islands with three shows in April. Juan De Marcos Gonzalez is the leader of the band, and called HPR’s Dave Lawrence to talk about their visit.
The Afro-Cuban All Stars debut in the islands April 14th at the MACC in Kahului, April 15th on the Big Island in Kamuela at the Kahilu Theatre, and April 16th in Honolulu at the Blaisdell Concert Hall. See live video of The Afro-Cuban All Stars below, and get more information on the band at their website, afrocubanallstarsonline.com.
