HPR recently had the chance to speak with American entertainment legend Glen Campbell while he was in Honolulu. We’ve played a little of it already, and today, offer a feature of highlights from this special interview, starting with Glen’s recollection of working with John Wayne on the classic film “True Grit”.
Hear both of our aired features with Glen below, and check out the videos for the songs featured in each piece. Ghost on the Canvas is Glen's 61st studio album and his farewell studio effort. Learn more about it online at his official website and official Facebook page.
HPR-1 has been partially restored to O'ahu's North Shore and much of Kaua'i; we are working on an electrical problem at the Mt. Ka'ala site and once that's been resolved, repairs can be made to restore full HPR-1 signal strength. All other transmitters are operating normally.

Note on Hawaiian spellings:
In our print communications, HPR takes special care to include the ʻokina (glottal stop) and kahakō (macron) marks used in the proper spelling of Hawaiian words.
