Dalai Lama Envisions a "Century of Dialogue"

The Dalai Lama is visiting Hawai`i to discuss similarities between the Hawaiian spirit of Aloha and the Buddhist spirit of compassion towards others.

The Tibetan spiritual leader arrived in Honolulu on Friday and greeted thousands of people this weekend during his visit to Hawaii.

Hale'iwa Farmers Market Allowed To Continue Through April

The state is granting permission to continue the Haliewa Farmers Market through the end of the month.

Earlier this week organizers and farmers were shocked by a letter from the state Department of Transportation telling them to shut it down immediately.

Dance Protest at Capitol Seeks More Freedom in Maui County

Residents of Maui who like to move to the beat want to amend a law dating back to the early 80’s. The law makes dancing anywhere outside of official dance floors illegal, but it doesn’t define what "dancing" is.  The group Maui Dance Advocates has been fighting to change the law for six years.

Adventurous Grandma Completes Bucket List in Hawai`i
