A group of sustainability minded studentes is focusing hard on getting residents to pay attention to facebook. If they can get 10,000 "likes" on Hawaii Energy's page this month, they'll give a local YMCA a total energy makeover.
Americans are getting bigger by the generation. Health care professionals and researchers say the trend towards obesity must change. A new documentary explores the causes of obesity, and some of Hawai`i’s top experts will discuss both causes and challenges tonight.

Ten million dollars is headed to the islands to improve community health care. The grants are part of the federal Affordable Care Act and the money will be used to reach more patients.
A series of community meetings is scheduled for this week to discuss the rail project proposed for Honolulu. The meetings will be held in communities along the proposed route from Kapolei to Ala Moana Center.
