Hospice Opens $10 Million Residential Facility

Hospice care on Hawaii Island is about to enter a new phase. Hospice services have been available on the Big Island for nearly 30 years, but starting this Friday, the options will expand. From the Big Island, Sherry Bracken reports.

One Year Intermission for Kahilu Theater

Residents across the state are wondering what comes next for the historic Kahilu Theater in Waimea. Many were shocked to hear the theater's board has cancelled the 2012-2013 season. Plans for the future began last week with a community meeting. HPR's Sherry Bracken has an update.

County Council OKs County Budget --- For Now

Keokea Beach Park Reopens Years After Earthquake Damage

Hawaii County has completed a long-term project with the parks.  Five and a half years ago, earthquakes damaged a number of park facilities on the island.  And now, as HPR's Sherry Bracken reports from the Big Island, the last of the park repairs is complete.

Hospital Restricts Maternal Care to Women in Service Area
