years, the historic Volcano House is reopening this weekend inside Hawaii

State legislators say
Hawaii County's election office needs some changes. We've been following the
problems with the county elections office for a few weeks now. And, there
were a number of snags in Saturday's primary election, which
resulted in Hawaii Island polling places staying open late---and delaying the
state's election results. From Kona, HPR's Sherry Bracken reports.

The Hawaii County election results are in, but it looks like
the county's primary election process may not be quite over. Although
several races were settled, some races are going to runoff and some may be

during this election year in Hawaii County is the General Plan and its
Community Development Plans. The question is, how fast can Hawaii County

The state elections office has helped clear up most of the mystery surrounding the Hawaii County elections office. The state elections chief and the Hawaii County clerk finally met with the press yesterday to address allegations of
