Tonight October 19th, at UH Hilo, Dr. Brian Schmidt, 2011 Nobel Laureate in Physics, – will speak on the Accelerating Universe… This discovery, of what is called “dark energy,” led to Dr. Schmidt’s 2011 Nobel Prize in Physics, for a remarkable discovery that the Universe is accelerating as it expands.
