Stage and screen legend Ben Vereen is returning to Hawai`i for a series of five concerts on four islands, plus a series of speaking engagements at schools and other stops in the community. He called HPR’s Dave Lawrence ahead of his trip… and talked about the new show he'll be rehearsing in the islands, Tenacity.

The Steve Miller Band is back for a trio of concerts. Miller has been a favorite in Hawaii for decades, and is part of local music history, performing at the inaugural Crater Music Festival in Honolulu. Before returning to the venue a few years ago, he took time to speak with HPR’s Dave Lawrence and recalled some details of that first appearance at Diamond Head.
