Hong Kong Eyes Electric Vehicles

The Maui Electric Auto Association is celebrating “National Plug In Day” this Friday. Along with UH Maui College, the group will highlight the growing use of electric vehicles around the islands. Electric vehicles still have only a tiny portion of the market, but it’s growing. And in Asia, electric vehicles may be the future of taxi cabs in at least one major city.

Dispute Over Islands Flares Again

Teaching Surges as a Career in Malaysia

There are no new developments this morning in the continuing dispute between the Hawaii State Teachers Association and Governor Abercrombie. Federal mediators are working to resolve the differences. Golf’s Academic Appeal Grows in China

This weekend, the Hawaii Tourism Authority is sponsoring the Pacific Links Hawaii Golf Championship at the Kapolei Golf Course. The PGA Champions event will be broadcast in China.
